Maintenance Mechanic

Description

• Repair facility equipment, fixtures, building, and grounds
• Operating equipment including overhead cranes, forklifts, rebar shear, cage machines and band saw
• Maintain the cleanliness, functionality, and safety of equipment and work areas
• Ensure operation of machinery and mechanical equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements on motors, pneumatic tools, conveyor systems, and production machines; follow diagrams, operations manuals, and manufacturer's instructions
• Troubleshoot electric, hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical systems to determine causes of failures and recommends solutions for repair
• Machine install and repair, maintenance and facilities repair, including electrical, mechanical, welding, fabrication of special parts as needed

Requirements

• Previous maintenance experience with industrial equipment in manufacturing environment required
• Minimum high school diploma or equivalent
• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs periodically throughout the day
• Ability to read/write simple instructions and communicate effectively with team members
• Familiar with OSHA regulations and maintain all equipment to be compliant with applicable safety and environmental standards
