The role involves overseeing civil construction to meet detailed specifications and timelines, coordinating trenchless methods such as pipejacking, and working with the Construction Manager on earthworks, substructures and utility diversions. You will ensure strict health‑and‑safety compliance, direct subcontractors, conduct risk assessments, keep thorough progress records and drive continuous improvement through best practices and new technology.
We are seeking an accomplished Civil Project Engineer to join the Stage 1A team. Reporting to the Senior Project Engineer, you will manage diverse civil works, including pipejacking and inground rock removal, ensuring delivery that is safe, sustainable and of the highest quality.
The successful candidate will hold a tertiary qualification in civil engineering and proven experience in civil project execution, particularly trenchless techniques and inground rock removal. Robust project‑management skills, strong communication, proficiency with construction management software and a problem‑solving mindset are essential. Experience with bulk earthworks, rock breaking, various fill materials, pavement construction and drainage works is also required.
