- Ensure designs are technically sound, cost-effective, and aligned with project objectives and site conditions.
- Lead the design development and optimisation of large-scale hydropower and pumped hydropower schemes, including both surface and underground components
- Develop and optimise the powerhouse layout integrating key hydro-mechanical and hydro-electrical equipment
- Conduct and review feasibility studies for new hydropower projects.
- Prepare, review, and coordinate civil, mechanical, and electrical design inputs related to hydropower plants. Work closely with multidisciplinary teams to integrate all components of the scheme.
- Prepare detailed technical specifications, design reports, drawings, and other documentation.
