Aftermarket Sales Representative – Trucking & Trailer Industry

Description

Based in Southeast Melbourne but largely field-based, this role focuses on building strong distributor relationships, gathering market insights, identifying growth opportunities, and supporting customer engagement across Melbourne and broader Victoria.

• Work closely with the Sales Manager and Aftermarket team to grow the distributor network and execute area sales plans
• Plan regular customer visits across Melbourne and regional Victoria, gathering market intelligence and reporting on pricing, product needs and trends
• Develop and maintain distributor support strategies aligned to the wider global plan
• Identify and qualify new aftermarket distributors for inclusion in the sales and service network
• Lead daily aftermarket sales development by building rapport, actively selling and promoting the product range
• Deliver informal and formal product training to distributor teams and customer groups

Requirements

• Ability to deliver informal training and product knowledge sessions
• Ability to gather and report meaningful market insights to improve product offerings
• Strong communication, organisation, and presentation skills
• Diploma-level technical qualification or equivalent industry experience
• Experience building and managing dealer or customer relationships in trucking, trailers, OEMs, workshops or similar technical environments (e.g., mine sites, repair centres) would be extremely beneficial
