Tasks

-Work within a multidisciplinary project team of designers and ensure interdisciplinary co-ordination when developing the models -Preparation of piping isometrics. -Assist in the facilitation of project model reviews and follow up on action items -Develop piping models in a 3D environment (SmartPlant experience an asset) -Prepare piping layout detail designs and drawings in line with project design requirements for various areas of a concentrator facility (specifically tailings thickener and filtration plants) with focus on the following:

What You Bring

-10+ year’s experience in piping design of mineral processing plants in a multidisciplinary EPC/EPCM environment -Well-developed written and oral skills -Working knowledge of SmartPlant required. -Detailed knowledge of piping systems, components and hardware, including understanding of P&IDs and material take-offs. -Excellent communication skills (written and oral). -Knowledge of slurry handling and rubber lined pipe design -Extensive experience with ASME B16 and B31 and associated standards. -Strong analytical skills. -Ability to resolve most technical issues in an efficient manner with some guidance. -Understanding of industry regulatory codes and standards
