The Cash Management group within Treasury executes banking operations and financing transactions in support of PG&E's capital and liquidity requirements; assists the Director of Treasury Operations and Treasurer in managing the company's relationships with the financial community; and maintains sufficient liquidity through effective cash management practices.
- Support daily treasury operations including wire payments, bank account management, user access, positive pay, and servicing of securitization bonds.
- Provide support in managing and maintaining relationships with internal stakeholders as well as external bank service providers.
- Responsible for opening, closing, or modifying bank accounts and related services as needed.
- Prepare management reporting related to the administration of PG&E’s financing obligations.
- Assist with administration of credit facilities.
- Assist the accounting team with transactional questions for accounting close and other month‑end reporting needs.
- Participate in meetings with banking partners to incorporate market insights into team decisions.
- Assist in streamlining processes and procedures across the organization, identifying opportunities through new technologies or financial products.
- Establish, maintain, or terminate bank services, analyzing services and reducing costs.
- Serve as SharePoint administrator.
- Own the Banking email inbox.
- Manage all KYC requests from banks.
- Execute special projects as assigned by management.

- Own Sarbanes Oxley compliance testing for multiple departments within Treasury.
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related discipline, or equivalent work experience.
- Minimum of 2 years of treasury operations experience.
- Basic understanding of LEAN management principles.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and cross‑functionally with various internal and external organizations.
- Possess general technical knowledge and proficient written and verbal communication skills.
- Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
- Strong research, problem‑resolution, and decision‑making skills.
- Ability to assess and recommend solutions for assigned projects.
- Understanding of fundamental technical and professional concepts.
Benefits
The Treasury Analyst will report to the Senior Manager of Cash Management. This position is hybrid, working from your remote office and the Oakland General Office one or two times a week, on average, or based on business needs.
PG&E provides the full salary/pay range for this position, with the final amount based on internal equity, specific skills, education, licenses, experience, market value, and geographic location. The range for the Bay Area is $82,000 minimum, $103,000 midpoint, and $124,000 maximum, and the role is also eligible to participate in PG&E’s discretionary incentive compensation programs.
