The Craft Recruiter supports DPR Family of Companies by leading recruitment efforts for craft positions across the Central, Southwest, Rocky Mountain, and Northwest regions. This role works closely with field operations, hiring managers, and support groups to identify staffing needs and provide recruitment solutions. The recruiter executes full‑life‑cycle hiring for construction, electrical, prefab, modular, manufacturing, driver, and warehouse craft roles.
Key responsibilities include opening and managing requisitions in Workday, defining job specifications, creating screening questions, and conducting phone and in‑person candidate assessments. The recruiter sources candidates through job boards, social media, networking, cold calling, and job fairs, then schedules interviews, consolidates feedback, and negotiates offers. They build and maintain pipelines with active, passive, and past candidates while coordinating logistics and tracking issues. Collaboration with the Craft Recruiting Manager and project teams ensures hiring plans align with operational expectations and a positive candidate experience.
The ideal candidate has 3‑5 years of full‑cycle construction or electrical craft recruiting experience, with bilingual English/Spanish abilities strongly preferred. Required qualifications include a high school diploma/GED, proficiency in Workday and other ATS tools, expertise in Boolean searches and data mining, and the ability to influence without authority. Strong communication, organizational, and multitasking skills are essential, as is willingness to travel throughout the region for recruiting and training initiatives. Familiarity with MS Office, Power BI, Monday.com, CMIC, or Smartsheets is a plus.
