To perform underbody inspections to the specified check sheet and rectify issues as required
To select & use correctly appropriate equipment and tools for the required work task
To complete sign off documentation
To ensure the work environment is maintained in a safe & tidy manner & to sweep work area daily
To respond to late/out of core hours & ‘call out' situations as required
To use equipment & tools in a safe manner, using appropriate PPE as necessary

Valid driving licence - essential
Time Served Apprenticeship in Vehicle Maintenance & Repair or can demonstrate occupational competence in an equivalent environment
Able to work under own initiative and minimum supervision
Thorough understanding of chassis driveline systems and components e.g. Volvo, AD diesel & EV, Voith, Battery systems
Able to work in a safe manner recognising potential risk to oneself and one's work colleagues
PSV licence - essential
Thorough understanding of engine systems and EV drive systems
Competent to use a range of hand & power tools as required to undertake designated work task efficiently & safely
