The Project Scheduler will lead the planning and scheduling efforts on multiple high‑impact projects. In addition to core scheduling duties, the role supports corporate initiatives such as training development and delivery, data analytics, trend identification, and reporting.
Key responsibilities include understanding and applying planning and scheduling best practices, analyzing drawings, specifications, and statements of work to create baseline construction schedules, and monitoring multiple project schedules produced by operations staff while providing guidance as needed. The Scheduler will interact with owners, subcontractors, and partners, support conceptual bid and proposal schedule development, and present schedules to executive committees when required. Additional duties involve utilizing analytics to identify project trends, performing time‑impact analyses, evaluating actual construction status against the plan, and delivering specialized training for Clark Corporate University.
Basic qualifications include an undergraduate degree in engineering, architecture, construction management, or a related field (preferred) and at least three years of scheduling experience on commercial construction projects. The candidate must demonstrate proven success implementing strategic initiatives, be detail‑oriented, capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment, and possess strong relationship‑building skills. Advanced proficiency in Primavera P6 and a high degree of initiative, personal responsibility, and integrity are required.
The role involves predominantly desk‑based work, requiring prolonged periods of focused computer analysis and reviewing complex documents, as well as occasional travel to active construction sites. Employees must be able to lift and move objects up to 10 lb regularly and up to 25 lb occasionally, and be comfortable navigating dynamic site conditions and varying transportation modes. The primary workspace is a professional office with quiet‑to‑moderate noise and lighting, while site visits may expose staff to outdoor weather, louder noise, and moving equipment.
