Key duties include adhering to safety protocols, installing manual dampers, ductwork, and associated fittings per manufacturer specifications, installing copper refrigerant lines and HVAC equipment up to 20 tons, designing field duct fittings, wiring low‑ and line‑voltage controls, pre‑measuring jobs, receiving and transporting materials, ensuring proper gas line connections, performing equipment readings, completing job documentation, and collaborating with team members and other departments to meet project deadlines.
The position requires working outdoors in all weather conditions, at heights, and in confined spaces, with the ability to lift up to 50 lb, carry up to 25 lb, and use ladders, scaffolding, and stairs. Candidates must have a high school diploma, GED, or trade school completion, a Universal Refrigerant certificate (or willingness to obtain one), 1–3 years of HVAC installation experience, strong verbal and written communication skills, mechanical aptitude, and a valid driver’s license meeting the company’s driver qualification policy.
