BIM Manager

Description

The BIM (Building Information Modeling) Manager will lead the implementation and management of BIM processes across projects, ensuring efficiency, accuracy, and compliance with industry standards while aligning designs with manufacturability requirements.

• Create, implement, and enforce BIM protocols, workflows, and execution plans across all projects.
• Oversee development, integration, and maintenance of federated BIM models, ensuring accuracy and quality.
• Manage timelines for 3D deliverables and coordinate with internal teams to meet milestones.
• Facilitate BIM coordination meetings, resolve clashes, and integrate architectural, structural, and MEP disciplines.
• Implement BIM workflows that integrate design with manufacturing, reducing errors and optimizing efficiency.
• Review and validate drawings for manufacturability and compliance with production standards.
• Collaborate with engineering, production, and project management to resolve design issues and ensure smooth handoff.
• Provide guidance and training on BIM tools and processes for continuous improvement.
• Manage BIM software suites, ensure updates, compliance, and evaluate new technologies.
• Conduct regular audits of models and drawings to ensure adherence to manufacturability requirements.
• Maintain the common data environment (CDE) with proper version control and documentation.
• Serve as primary BIM query contact, aligning design intent with production capabilities.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of BIM management or similar experience.
• Proficiency in BIM software (Revit, Navisworks, AutoCAD).
• Technical expertise in BIM workflows and multidisciplinary coordination.
• Ability to manage complex projects and lead cross‑functional teams.
• Strong problem‑solving, adaptability, and attention to detail.
• Familiarity with automation tools and data integration for manufacturing workflows.
• Solid understanding of construction processes and BIM standards.
• Excellent project management, leadership, and communication skills.
• BIM Management Certification (preferred).

Benefits

The position offers a base salary of $85,000‑$130,000 plus eligibility for an annual bonus program tied to business and individual goals. Mattamy encourages candidates who meet most of the requirements to apply, even if they do not meet every criterion.
