The Grievance Coordinator oversees the inmate/resident grievance process, ensuring both informal and formal procedures comply with company and contractual requirements. They coordinate investigations, determine facts, and work toward reasonable and effective resolutions while tracking grievances to guarantee timely responses and maintaining accurate records and logs.
- Evaluate and process inmate/resident grievances according to policies and contractual requirements.
- Facilitate informal resolutions before escalating to the formal grievance process where permissible.
- Conduct research with inmates/residents/staff to establish factual support while maintaining strict confidentiality.
- Make credibility assessments and weigh the rights and interests of all parties to facilitate successful resolution.
- Prepare and evaluate reports/responses, monitor action plans, and coordinate appeals with management to resolution.

Candidates must hold a bachelor’s degree in a social or behavioral science or a related field, with two years of criminal justice experience preferred. Experience may substitute for education on a year‑for‑year basis, and proficiency with Microsoft Office or similar software is required.
