Sr Cybersecurity Manager

Description

As a Sr Cybersecurity Manager, you will support the Simulator Division’s Information System Security Manager at Wright‑Patterson Air Force Base, developing documentation, reports and technical data needed for system security and certification of aircraft simulators while addressing complex cyber threats.

• Support RMF Assessment and Authorization processes to achieve Authority to Operate across multiple platforms.
• Conduct vulnerability and risk assessments for Air Force Platform Information Technology systems.
• Perform cybersecurity analyses using technical risk management principles.
• Review program documentation to ensure security requirements are addressed and sustained.
• Edit and review security documents as required.
• Coordinate program management and milestone events, including program protection requirements.
• Execute additional duties assigned by management.
• Develop cybersecurity deliverables such as SSP, AAR, SAR and RAR (desired).

Requirements

The position is on‑site with standard working hours, requires minimal travel (0‑20 %), and operates within Special Access Programs supporting DoD agencies such as HQ Air Force and the Office of the Secretary of Defense.

Candidates must hold a BS in IT, Computer Science or a related field (or 8 years experience in lieu of a degree), possess 10 + years of information assurance or cybersecurity experience, be familiar with DoD Is 8500.01/8510.01, NIST SP 800‑53 and the RMF, and have an active Secret clearance with the ability to obtain Top Secret/SAP.

Desired qualifications include DoD 8570.01‑M (IAM Level III), prior experience as an ISSM or ISSO, and expertise implementing RMF for DoD weapons systems and creating cybersecurity products such as SSPs, AARs, SARs and RARs.

• Hold an active Secret clearance with eligibility for Top Secret/SAP.
• Have 10+ years of information assurance or cybersecurity experience (or 8 years in lieu of a BS degree).
• Be familiar with DoD Is 8500.01, 8510.01, NIST SP 800‑53 and the Risk Management Framework.
• Possess DoD 8570.01‑M (IAM Level III) certification (desired).
• Experience as an ISSM or ISSO implementing RMF for DoD weapons systems (desired).
