• Empower team members and support associates to achieve personal, plant and company goals.
• Create, maintain, and improve the safety culture in the assigned area.
• Conduct safety audits, lead safety training, behavior/awareness programs, and maintain a strong safety presence on the plant floor.
• Partner with Quality and Engineering to ensure manufactured goods meet finished‑product specifications.
• Use the "Voice of the Customer" to foster a continuous‑improvement culture.
• Schedule and supervise manufacturing resources to meet production goals aligned with business objectives.
• Apply critical thinking and problem‑solving tools to increase operational effectiveness and efficiency.
• Coordinate with other supervisors on daily schedules, workflow, personnel, and issues affecting department performance.
• Communicate schedule variations to stakeholders to protect on‑time delivery.
• Model the company's core values in actions, decisions, and daily interactions.
• Coach, train, and ensure compliance with plant procedures, work rules, and safety guidelines while respecting employee capabilities.
• Ensure activities follow documented operating procedures and recommend updates as needed.

Reporting to an Operations Manager, the Supervisor will lead assigned lines and/or work units with overall responsibility for performance across the shift, focusing on People, Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Cost in that order.

• Bachelor’s degree, or Associate degree with 2 years experience, or 4 years experience in a similar role.
• Minimum 2 years manufacturing/industrial experience; metals industry preferred.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• ERP experience, preferably J.D. Edwards or Oracle.
• Intermediate proficiency with MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, Word).
• Exposure to Lean Manufacturing or Lean Six Sigma; Green Belt certification preferred.
• Bilingual in English/Spanish preferred.
