- Join a mission-led accelerating Australia's clean energy transition
- Providing 3rd level support for Cloud related tasks/issues
- Explore unique and cost-effective employee EV Car subscriptions.
- Act as a Senior Engineer within the Cloud & Infrastructure Operations group to deliver effective IT outcomes to business units across the Origin enterprise.
- Participate in an after-hours on call support roster
- Be a key member of the cross-functional delivery team and working effectively with BAs, Iteration Managers, Developers, Security, UX, Product Owners
- Deliver Cloud based technical projects hosted in both Azure and AWS. The individual is responsible for working through all stages of the delivery lifecycle including design, cost analysis, build and ongoing support.
- Drive innovation at scale, shaping cloud infrastructure across AWS
- Support and facilitate migration of applications and infrastructure to a cloud-based environment. Refactor and uplift application architecture as needed to use appropriate cloud native services
- Engage in opportunities through the Origin Foundation to support your community.
- Introduction, implementation and improvement of automation tools, principles, and processes. Engineer solutions, frameworks, and the supporting platforms to provide the optimal experience for internal and external consumers.

- Solid experience with Unix/Linux systems, including configuration, security, patching, and maintenance.
- Strong documentation, communication, and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across distributed teams and maintain a proactive, solutions-focused mindset.
- Proficient in containerisation technologies such as Docker, Kubernetes, and ECS.
- Familiar with CI/CD pipelines and tools such as GitHub Actions and Jenkins.
- Skilled in Python programming with object-oriented design and dependency management.
- Strong expertise in AWS Kubernetes (EC2, S3, Lambda, CloudFront, CloudWatch, Route53, ECS, RDS, DynamoDB) and experience with Azure-hosted applications and cloud migrations.
- Knowledge of event monitoring, self-healing systems, and related modern tooling.
