The Leasing Consultant role focuses on leasing, marketing and resident relations for a property, requiring daily onsite presence, lead generation, tours, lease execution and resident satisfaction activities.
- Show and lease prospective residents, conduct tours and finalize lease agreements.
- Generate new leads, schedule appointments and follow up to maintain closing ratios.
- Complete all leasing paperwork and assist with lease audits, unit walks and turnover processes.
- Maintain accurate prospect traffic data and respond to leads within 24 hours.
- Implement sales and marketing strategies to increase property traffic and exceed leasing goals.
- Perform administrative tasks and assist with resident retention programs such as events, promotions and newsletters.
- Contribute to office and common‑area upkeep and cleaning.
- Support the annual marketing plan and conduct ongoing market surveys and analysis.
- Keep thorough product knowledge of the property, competition and market conditions; submit weekly market reports.
- Deliver excellent customer service, monitor service request response times and ensure resident satisfaction.
- Promote a positive community image to achieve property objectives and public recognition.
- Apply community policies consistently and enforce guidelines delegated by the supervisor.
- Move throughout the property, communicate with team members and perform repetitive hand motions.
- Ascend/descend ladders, stairs or scaffolding and stand or sit for prolonged periods.
- Lift, carry or move objects up to 25 lb and operate machinery, power tools, vehicles or golf carts.

- Hold a High School Diploma or equivalent and possess basic computer skills.
- Understand Fair Housing Laws and OSHA requirements.
- Work overtime, weekends, night shifts and adapt to extreme temperatures or outdoor conditions.
- Navigate tight or confined spaces and be exposed to hazardous chemicals as required.

Compensation ranges from $21 to $22 per hour and includes a total rewards package with medical, dental, vision, life, disability, 401(k) matching, commissions, performance bonuses, paid sick days and company holidays.
