- Daily processing, uploading and downloading of data collectors
- Daily coordination with survey field manager, project managers and other office staff as needed
- Perform office duties including data reduction, field note reduction, calculations, data checks, and staking computations using survey computer programs as needed
- Collect survey data per industry and client specifications, scopes of work, and field manager direction
- Work primarily in the field on land surveys including control, boundary, topographic, DOT, construction layouts and more
- Supervise all members of the survey crew
- Perform tasks and solve problems with a high degree of independence

- FAA Part 107 license
- Knowledge of AutoCAD Civil 3D, MicroStation, Inroads and Open Roads Designer and Trimble Business Center Software
- 3– 5+ years of experience in surveying as a Crew Chief, preferably in DOT or Boundary Surveying
- Associate degree or higher in a survey program or equivalent
- Willing and able to continually learn new techniques, processes, and equipment operation
- Scanning and drone flight experience
- Valid driver’s license
- Experience with GPS, Robotic total stations, and data collectors
