Operates various equipment including backhoes, excavators, dozers, plows, trenchers and or directional bore machines for the installation or maintenance of underground utilities, and other duties as directed by foreman.
Operators will be directed in placing or maintaining underground utilities. This could include but not limited to digging around existing utilities, placing conduit, placing handholes, placing manholes, backfilling & compacting.
Operators will be responsible for daily maintenance of equipment such as and maintaining fluids, greasing equipment as required and other routine maintenance as necessary.
Operators are expected to embrace H&M’s safety culture including safe operation of equipment, appropriate PPE and participating in daily and weekly safety talks.
