Purpose:The Senior Structural Engineer will lead and support the Civil, Structural, and Architectural (CSA) Engineering team for projects in the U.S. Mining, Minerals, and Metals (MMM) business. Manage projects of varying sizes, ensuring quality, cost, and schedule adherence. Oversee the CSA Engineering team's output, technical integrity, and compliance with safety standards while driving engineering excellence and adherence to industry codes.

Assist during procurement, construction, and commissioning activities.
Perform structural analysis and design for steel, concrete, and specialized structures.
Review detailed engineering designs, calculations, and drawings, providing professional engineering stamps when required.
Ensure project scope clarity and compliance with change management processes.
Support quality assurance and verification of engineering deliverables.
Interpret customer specifications and coordinate across disciplines.
Liaise with clients, vendors, and internal/external teams.
Lead and manage CSA engineering projects within the heavy industrial sector, including mining, power generation, oil & gas, pulp & paper, and chemical processing.
Collaborate on strategic pursuits and proposal development for the CSA discipline.
Deliver highquality engineering solutions while ensuring safety, efficiency, and value optimization.
Act as the project lead designer/engineer, overseeing engineers, designers, and drafters.
Define project scope, estimate work, and track CSA engineering progress.
Lead RFPs, estimations, detailed engineering, and field support.
Ensure compliance with applicable codes, industry standards, and customer specifications.
Identify and resolve engineering issues, staying up to date with advancements in CSA engineering.
Mentor junior and intermediate staff.
