Day to day liaison with client, external stakeholders and key discipline leads from project team(s)
Manage compliance of design to project requirements and applicable standards
Providing project teams with design leadership and technical guidance
Liaising with the client’s Project Manager to ensure works are delivered to their expectation.
Lead the multi-disciplinary design and coordination of Arcadis project team and ensure a high degree of coordination between disciplines for interfacing with external design consultants or stakeholders
Monitor and coordinate project resources to meet program requirements and alignment with design scope
Transform project brief requirements into a delivery strategy and design schedule
Provide oversight and adherence to Arcadis’ quality and documentation processes to manage risks, change and tracking of key design decisions
Manage the design scope and progress of designs ensuring deadlines are met
Manage and lead key discipline leads to ensure consistent design output, and liaising with the Project Director to ensure design meets overall project and client expectations

Experience working with partners and contractors different contractual arrangements.
Experience in managing and working large multi-disciplinary teams
Sound commercial background, including familiarity with contractual conditions and procedures, including ability to assess risk to complement overall project leadership team.
Proven knowledge and understanding of inter-disciplinary design dependencies and impacts for project delivery.
A background in technical design delivery (building engineering or architecture)
A strong project and design management background (ideally 10+ years’) working on major/large-scale buildings projects with a capital value of greater than $300 million and proven track record of successfully delivering these projects
Ability to negotiate, influence and communicate technical knowledge to a range of stakeholders across public and private sectors, in particular government agencies and D&C contractors to deliver “best for project” outcomes
