The Executive Assistant to the President of Development & CREO supports senior leadership across the Development Division and other company executives, providing high‑quality administrative assistance. Responsibilities include managing correspondence, facilitating project closings, coordinating events, and handling financial and compliance tasks. The role reports to the San Francisco corporate office and works Monday through Friday.
- Support President of Development & CREO and senior executives with administrative tasks.
- Manage correspondence from auditors, funders, and business partners.
- Assist with project closings by participating in calls, reviewing documents, and facilitating execution.
- Plan and execute development division and corporate events such as property tours, groundbreakings, grand openings, holiday potlucks, and the annual conference.
- Coordinate tasks, timelines, and communication for development project audits, tax returns, and cost certifications.
- Provide administrative support for development division financial reporting and draw processes.
- Process project and corporate invoices for payment.
- Prepare and assemble development project proposals.
- Create and maintain schedules and reports using Excel and other software tools.
- Handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
- Maintain both hard‑copy and electronic filing systems.
- Schedule meetings and conference calls.
- Arrange travel as needed.
- Maintain credit card accounts and prepare expense reports.
- Oversee copying, mailing, label creation, and ensure deadlines are met.
- Provide notary services when required.

Successful candidates will have at least five years of executive‑assistant experience, preferably within the affordable housing sector, and strong skills in Microsoft Office, written and oral communication, and time management. Notary certification is preferred, and an AA/AS degree or equivalent is required, with a BA/BS considered a plus.
- Minimum five years of experience as an Executive Assistant or in a comparable role.
- Experience in the affordable housing industry is highly preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to plan, schedule, and complete complex projects with minimal guidance.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Ability to work with technology and software development tools.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Strong time management and multitasking abilities.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Notary certification preferred.
- AA/AS degree or equivalent experience required; BA/BS a plus.
Benefits
The position offers a salary range of $78,000 to $95,700 per year, with the final amount determined by location, experience, and relevant qualifications.
