The Construction Project Manager will lead the successful execution of assigned at‑risk construction projects ranging from $3 M to $20 M, ensuring scope, schedule, and financial targets are met while adhering to corporate Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) and quality‑control policies. The role requires managing project teams, planning, directing, coordinating, and budgeting all construction activities, with a willingness to travel for assignments.
Key responsibilities include developing proposals, establishing baseline cost and schedule metrics, forecasting financial performance, and delivering projects at or above the as‑bid gross profit. The manager will enforce zero‑tolerance safety standards, ensure quality compliance, maintain client communication, and oversee the selection and performance of design professionals, subcontractors, and vendors. Additionally, the manager will create and maintain risk registers, change‑order logs, and secure necessary permits and approvals, while mentoring the team and fostering a collaborative partnership environment.
Candidates must hold a bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, architecture, or a related field, or possess an equivalent combination of education and experience. A minimum of five years’ experience as a Project or Construction Manager, along with PMP or CCM certification, strong leadership and communication skills, and a solid understanding of the built environment, CPM scheduling, Earned Value, and project controls, is required.
The position involves regular site navigation, including walking, climbing ladders, and standing on uneven surfaces, and the ability to lift up to 50 lb.
