Supervising and managing On Track Machine (OTM) operations.
Ensuring all work is carried out safely and in line with policies and procedures.
Co-ordinate and undertake surveys to support scoping the works and support the preparation of work specifications, method statements, and plans, ensuring optimal resource allocation.
Conducting technical inspections, tests, and data analysis.
Managing and checking work quality to maintain compliance with asset standards.

Strong technical support experience with a focus on Tack/permanent way maintenance and construction management, systems and standards
Understanding and knowledge of Level crossing surfaces, Longitudinal Bearer systems, Modular Bearer systems, Slab Track Systems
Expertise in design requirements, processes, and techniques for track and infrastructure projects.
Relevant competencies and qualifications required for the role, including NVQ Level 3 or 4 in engineering/leadership or equivalent.
Experienced in the installation of track on site including design tamping Via ALC and MOST
Understanding and good knowledge of Critical Rail Temperature Management also stressing of Continuous Welded Rail.
Knowledge of undertaking gauging assessments using Clear Route 2. Liaising with Gauging engineers and NGD to ensure design compliance.
Ability to demonstrate, promote, and embed safe working practices within the team.
A full, valid driving license and willingness to drive vehicles as required.Knowledge of design requirements, processes and techniques including experience of producing detailed horizontal and vertical designs from conventional survey data.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
Creating witness diagrams, Experience of stressing designs and competent in Stressing levels 1,2 and 3
Awareness of the H&S File process and implementation to NRG
Experienced at TR13/Raising and Removing speeds up to level 2.
