  • Collaborate with electrical engineers to manage cable routing and support harness design
  • Design and integrate mechanical solutions for electronics packaging, sensor mounts, payloads, and cabling infrastructure
  • Provide hands-on support during prototype builds and integration phases
  • Develop layouts for structural components such as bulkheads, hatches, brackets, and access panels
  • Participate in system-level design reviews and cross-functional integration planning
  • Conduct tolerance studies and support environmental and vibration testing
  • Produce detailed documentation including GD&T, tolerance stack-ups, and assembly drawings

Due to the nature of the work all candidates must be a US citizen or Green Card holder.

  • 5+ years of experience integrating complex mechanical and electrical systems
  • Proficiency in 3D CAD tools (e.g., SolidWorks, NX) and mechanical documentation
  • Own mechanical interfaces and installation strategies for subsystems within larger assemblies
  • Experience in prototyping or low-rate production environments is a plus
  • Strong cross-disciplinary collaboration and communication skills
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a related field
  • Understanding of EMI and thermal considerations in mechanical design
  • Expertise in packaging electronics and sensors within mechanical systems
  • Knowledge of GD&T is advantageous
