Carry out regular internal reviews to confirm stock and work-in-progress (WIP) are accurately reflected in financial systems and reports.
Ensure accuracy and reconciliation of balance sheet accounts, fixed asset registers (FAR), and stock listings, with all reconciliations completed and reviewed monthly.
Keep up to date with relevant accounting standards and implement new treatments as required.
Prepare and review supporting schedules and documentation for year-end audit processes.
Prepare and submit statutory returns (including VAT) accurately and on time.
Produce monthly reporting, including full Profit & Loss, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow, with timely submission of budget and forecast data to Group Finance.
Proactively identify and implement improvements to financial and business processes, ensuring timely, accurate management information is consistently available.
