Tasks

The jobholder governs the design and performance of Tarshid’s core infrastructure services, including Microsoft 365, cloud platforms, meeting platforms, and datacenter systems. The role ensures technical integrity, compliance, and alignment with the cloud-first strategy while overseeing service delivery by a managed service vendor. -Perform routine monitoring, troubleshooting, and incident resolution to ensure systems availability and performance. -Act as the primary point of contact for the managed service provider regarding network services. -Define standards, policies, and procedures for systems, cloud, and datacenter domains. -Ensure alignment of technology platforms with Tarshid’s cloud-first strategy. -Ensure proper implementation of security controls and patches across related infrastructure systems. -Oversee day-to-day vendor operations across the following domains: -Step in to operate and troubleshoot complex issues when and as needed. -Act as the technical authority and design owner for infrastructure services delivered via managed service vendors. -Support managed service engineers in resolving high-severity incidents and escalations. -Validate vendor resource allocation and skills meet organizational requirements. -Own the end-to-end design, architecture, and governance of cloud and systems platforms. -Collaborate with internal teams to ensure cohesive infrastructure delivery. -Oversee change management processes for related modifications. -Conduct regular vendor performance reviews, tracking KPIs and improvement plans. -Validate incident root cause analysis and corrective actions from the vendor. -Participate in IT audits, compliance assessments, and risk reviews related to infrastructure services. -Monitor and enforce vendor SLAs, ensuring timely reporting and escalation of issues.

What You Bring

-Strong knowledge in server virtualization, Windows/Linux OS, and datacenter technologies. -Experience developing and enforcing infrastructure governance frameworks. -Windows and Linux servers -Project coordination and multi-tasking skills in a dynamic environment. -Strong knowledge of Active Directory, ADFS, and identity federation. -General understanding of database administration and support environments. -Understanding of Cisco collaboration platforms, AV meeting solutions, and room system integration. -Competence in change management, configuration control, and lifecycle governance. -Strong skills in vendor management, SLA enforcement, and service performance tracking. -Ability to influence vendors and internal stakeholders. -Familiarity with cloud service portals (Oracle Cloud, GCP, Azure). -Analytical mindset and structured problem-solving. -Cisco WebEx and AV conferencing solutions -Proficiency level in English required, and fluency in Arabic is preferred -Microsoft 365 (Email, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, etc.) -Strong communication and presentation skills. -5+ years of experience on IT Infrastructure /IT Engineer; preferably within an Energy industry. -Oracle Cloud, Microsoft Azure and other provider portals -Virtualization platforms (e.g., VMware, Nutanix) -Active Directory and ADFS (On-Prem) -Database systems (Oracle, MS SQL, Postgres, etc.) -Deep understanding of Microsoft 365 services, especially Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive. -Expert knowledge of IT infrastructure and Security best practices, procedures, and standards
