Prefabrication Technician

Description

• Assemble electrical devices and components in the workshop.
• Measure, cut, bend, paint, and label parts per design drawings.
• Fabricate products from various materials.
• Read and follow assembly instructions, worksheets, and drawings.
• Select materials and assemble components according to supervisor direction.
• Use hand and power tools safely as instructed.
• Handle material inventory, storage, and organization.
• Load and unload trucks and palletize products.
• Maintain a clean, clutter‑free, and hazard‑free work area.
• Identify waste and suggest elimination methods.
• Recommend continuous process improvement strategies.
• Follow supervisor‑directed tasks and pre‑plan hazard elimination for each job.
• Observe coworkers' habits and address potential safety hazards.
• Uphold a zero‑accident safety culture.

Requirements

• Perform repetitive tasks efficiently.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of 1 year relevant experience.
• Basic math skills and ability to read mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic schematics.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams).
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Able to lift at least 50 lb, stand constantly, and perform repetitive arm and hand motions.
