Works with HNTB management in rigorously monitoring progress and results on supported pursuits. Works with Division Leadership to drive, provide guidance, and support efforts by local office contracting managers.
Assists business units in achieving HNTB’s financial and risk management goals by understanding office budget commitments, accurately assessing baseline GM, establishing aggressive target GM, and facilitating effective negotiation strategy and preparation to include participation in actual client negotiations to achieve improved contracted GM.
Leads HNTB’s contract and negotiations training programs.
Functions as the primary contact and manager of the established contracting and negotiation process to support both the core and Design-Build mega pursuits as well as select clients. Aggressively leads project teams to achieve significant improvements of financial (GM/ER) and risk elements in contracting by facilitating them through all steps of the HNTB Sophisticated Contracting process.
Develops and maintains collaborative working relationships with internal stakeholders (business units, divisions, offices) and external stakeholders (clients) to fully implement HNTB’s contracting initiative, ensuring alignment of the firm’s strategy with daily operations.
