Associate Director – Transaction Advisory

Description

We are seeking an experienced Associate Director/Technical Director to join our Transaction Advisory and Asset Management team. The role involves advising on economic and social infrastructure projects delivered through project‑finance, quasi‑development and property‑finance structures, with a growing emphasis on carbon‑net‑zero mandates. You will lead high‑quality technical reporting, risk analysis and client delivery across NGOs, commercial banks, infrastructure funds and other financing institutions.

• Deliver existing advisory mandates across social and infrastructure sectors under project‑finance and real‑estate finance frameworks.
• Provide core project‑finance services including PPP/PFI, lifecycle, operational and payment reviews, and quasi‑development/property finance.
• Produce high‑quality technical reports, analyses and advice for clients such as NGOs, commercial banks and infrastructure funds.
• Identify and assess qualifying economic infrastructure projects through technical, financial and risk discussions.
• Offer analytical advice on infrastructure transactions and identify sector‑specific opportunities.
• Build and nurture relationships with colleagues, intermediaries and networks to generate new business.
• Contribute to knowledge management within the Transaction Advisory and Asset Management teams.
• Own and manage delivery of a set number of projects for assigned clients while maintaining delivery quality.

Requirements

• Degree in construction, engineering or related discipline with progression toward a professional qualification (RIBA, RICS, CEng).
• Significant experience in construction/engineering markets, technical asset management, and project or development finance.
• Proven track record delivering multiple projects on time under pressure with internal and external clients.
• Strong numerical and analytical problem‑solving abilities.
• Self‑motivated, collaborative and able to meet demanding deadlines.
• Curiosity and interest in science, technology, innovation and sustainable infrastructure.
