- Create data analyses for review with leadership and teach maintenance workers.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations, particularly those related to high-temperature operations.
- Lead in diagnostic and troubleshooting of equipment issues both remotely and on-site in the Batch & Furnace area.
- Lead implementation corrective actions to minimize downtime and maintain production continuity.
- Lead efforts with maintenance workers to replace, adjust, and repair components to maintain optimal furnace performance and batch processing.
- Lead the maintenance workers in utilizing diagnostic tools and techniques to identify and resolve issues on-site.
- Lead overseeing and monitoring the Batch & Furnace equipment performance using Wonderware controls.
- Collaborate with the engineering team to update maintenance procedures and protocols as needed.
- Collaborate closely with production teams to ensure equipment operates efficiently and meets production goals.
- Lead and oversee routine maintenance, inspections, and repairs on mechanical and electrical systems within the Batch & Furnace area.
- Support maintenance workers when responding to equipment breakdowns and failures within the Batch & Furnace area promptly.
- Ensure maintenance workers follow all safety protocols and procedures while performing maintenance and troubleshooting tasks in the Batch & Furnace area.

- A high school diploma or equivalent, technical certification, or associate degree in a related field is preferred.
- Ability to work in high-temperature environments and various conditions, including confined spaces.
- Strong understanding of electrical, mechanical, and control systems, particularly in high-temperature environments.
- Proven experience as a lead mechanic or electrician in an industrial setting, with a focus on Batch & Furnace operations.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work independently and make decisions under pressure.
- Capability to lift and carry heavy equipment and tools as required for teaching by demonstrating furnace and batching specific tasks.
- Proficiency in using Wonderware or similar control systems for equipment monitoring and troubleshooting.
- Ability to diagnose and resolve complex equipment issues efficiently.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to teach and influence to achieve expected outcomes.
