Performs site audits for unsafe practices and conditions, makes recommendations and/or knows specific regulation on proper corrections.
Performs record keeping/document control for HAZCOM, training etc., including various reports to Owner.
Assists in developing and maintain hazard analysis documentation.
Leads/performs accident investigations.
Administers Vaughn’s and Owner’s safety program requirements.
Helps to develop specific on-site programs, as required.

Working knowledge, experience, and documented continuing education in fall protection, scaffolds, excavation, confined space, crane/equipment operations, electrical, and incident investigation.
Good organizational and planning skills.
Ability to maintain credibility with appropriate audiences each day.
Strong computer skills including MS Office, Email, PDF.
Must be bi-lingual or have means to translate between English and Spanish.
Current emergency first aid, CPR, AED training within two years.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills
Minimum of six years of experience in construction safety, with a minimum of five years in building construction safety.
Maintains excellent attendance and punctuality.
Ability to deal with a variety of people from craft workers to project Owners.
Current OSHA 510 training within four years.
