  • Leverage energy, waste, and water data collection process within JLL’s and client technology platforms and produce monthly and quarterly reports tailored to clients’ specific requirements.
  • Collaborate with other JLL energy managers globally to share best practices, develop case studies and develop new business opportunities.
  • Drive continuous improvements through data analysis and benchmarking.
  • Engage with JLL facility managers to become the key point of contact for the provision of wide-ranging advice in relation to all aspects of environmental sustainability.

  • Develop and execute site level energy management strategies for highest impact target sites worldwide.
  • Support corporate sustainability reporting objectives and provide management information relating to the use of utilities and the impact on the internal and external environment.
  • Drive operational improvements through systematic identification and implementation of energy performance enhancement opportunities and ECMs.
  • Identify and prioritize cost-effective energy optimization opportunities that align with existing capital and operational budget frameworks.
  • Design and implement sustainability programs targeting measurable savings, carbon reduction, and cost optimization.
  • Provide actional management insights on utility usage patterns.
  • Helps others - Builds relationships, actively collaborates, helps others succeed.
  • Support cross-functional teams in delivering sustainability projects to meet portfolio-wide sustainability goals.
  • Partner closely with regional site teams and facility managers to implement energy programs and reach sustainability objectives.
  • Develop and optimize systems and processes to deliver industry-leading sustainability performance, utilizing utility and sustainability management platforms for comprehensive monitoring and reporting.
  • Conduct remote or site assessment to identify sustainability conservation opportunities and operational improvement.
  • Develop supplier relationships to manage the delivery of environmental and sustainability projects and report on progress made

  • University Degree (Science, engineering, math or related fields)
  • Experience optimizing energy performance within existing budget constraints
  • In-depth understanding of Greenhouse Gas Emission scopes and reporting
  • Cross-cultural communication skills and international team experience
  • Experience supporting and managing project delivery by providing technical services guidance and direction to achieve and monitor energy and sustainability project goals
  • Technical understanding of the most common HVAC, electrical, mechanical, and building automation systems
  • Certified Energy Manager (CEM) Certification
  • Knowledge of environmental reporting, utility management and energy budgets, an environmental improvement program, and ISO 14001 compliance.
  • Experience in the preparation of tenders and work orders and the ability to select appropriate equipment and service vendors
  • Strong project management skills and an ability to prioritize and meet deadlines in a high pressure, globally-distributed environment
  • Proven ability to write recommendation reports to suit varying audiences (technical and non-technical)
  • Ability to explain complex technical or sensitive information and build consensus across diverse stakeholders
  • Proficiency in conducting on-site and desktop assessments to identify water, waste, energy and carbon savings opportunities, (e.g. ASHRAE Level 3)
  • Evidence of delivering innovation and engaging positively with continuous change and improvement
  • Think Big - Thinks strategically, simplifies the complex, solves complex problems, sees the big picture
  • 5+ years energy management experience
  • Proven ability to work effectively with remote teams and implement projects through local partnerships
  • Experience conducting site walkthroughs in order to find conservation measures (e.g. ASHRAE Level 1 and 2)
  • Familiarity with energy procurement process and renewable energy options
  • In-depth understanding of energy and water conservation measures in the built environment
  • Experience with benchmarking and analyzing utility data to drive sustainability measures
