In this position you will build and support cloud infrastructure automation solutions, develop and improve cloud services, and ensure secure, compliant deployments. You will work with tools such as Chef, Ansible, Terraform, GitHub CI/CD, and Kubernetes, and participate in capacity planning, monitoring, incident and change management.
- Follow security guidelines to develop secure and compliant cloud services in collaboration with Risk and Security teams.
- Monitor configuration management, platform layout, and hosting infrastructure.
- Automate deployment of applications and infrastructure.
- Work independently and in teams managing diverse customers and technical situations.
- Provide technical application support for enterprise‑level systems.
- Operate infrastructure using Chef, Ansible, Terraform, GitHub CI/CD, and Kubernetes.
- Participate in capacity planning, system performance monitoring, resource utilization trending, and incident and change management.
- Coordinate with cloud infrastructure partners for server, network, database, and service‑related incidents and projects.
- Deploy application upgrades/patches in production and test environments.
- Troubleshoot application alerts, Azure and AWS policies, monitoring tools, code inspection, and perform root cause analyses.
- Create tutorials, how‑to videos, technical articles, and knowledge‑base content, keeping them up to date.
- Resolve critical, complex customer problems spanning multiple services.
- Participate in 24x7 on‑call rotation and collaborate with global teams.
- Mentor and guide team members.
- Ensure security best practices are integrated into the development lifecycle and comply with data protection regulations.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand requirements, set priorities, and communicate progress and challenges.

The ideal candidate holds a bachelor's degree in computer science or a STEM field and has 7‑10 years of experience, including 5‑8 years with AWS and Azure, extensive hands‑on work with Docker, Kubernetes, Linux, CI/CD pipelines, IaC, observability tools, Java performance tuning, and scripting.
- Demonstrate Cloud DevOps best practices and continuously learn cloud‑native technologies.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or other STEM field with 7‑10 years of total experience.
- 5‑8 years experience with cloud platforms such as AWS and Azure, including setup, operation, and configuration.
- 5+ years hands‑on experience with public‑cloud applications, Docker, Kubernetes, and related technologies.
- 5+ years Linux (RHEL) performance monitoring and command‑line expertise.
- Proficiency with collaborative development tools like Git, Jira, and Confluence.
- Experience in infrastructure optimization, CI/CD pipelines (AWS CodePipeline, Azure DevOps, GitLab CI/CD, Jenkins) and IaC tools (Terraform, CloudFormation, Ansible).
- Strong knowledge of observability tools (Dynatrace, AppDynamics, Splunk, Prometheus, Grafana, ELK) and performance monitoring of enterprise systems.
- Expertise in Java runtime, JVM tuning, J2EE, microservices, Spring Boot, and database technologies (RDBMS, NoSQL).
- Skill in automation scripting with Python, Linux shell, or PowerShell.
- Familiarity with change and incident management processes.
