Senior Customer Success Manager

Description

The Senior Customer Success Manager – Middle East will join the EMEA Customer Success team to manage and grow high‑value engagements with utilities, regulators, government bodies, and energy companies across the region. Acting as a trusted advisor to senior stakeholders, the role drives retention, revenue growth, and advocacy while representing Energy Exemplar as a thought leader at industry events and translating complex challenges into actionable solutions.

• Own strategic accounts across the Middle East, building executive‑level relationships.
• Drive revenue growth and retain a $130M ARR portfolio, meeting or exceeding renewal targets.
• Identify and execute upsell and cross‑sell opportunities to maximize customer lifetime value.
• Partner with customers to deliver strategic value and secure testimonials and reference partnerships.
• Represent Energy Exemplar as a thought leader at regional conferences, government forums, and industry events.
• Ensure high‑quality onboarding, adoption, and expansion using consistent frameworks.
• Maintain robust account management systems and provide data‑driven insights to executive leadership.
• Act as the conduit between customers and product teams, delivering actionable market and regulatory feedback.
• Develop new business opportunities and strategic partnerships to embed Energy Exemplar in the regional energy ecosystem.
• Translate customer challenges into actionable solutions and measurable value.

Requirements

• Minimum 7 years experience in Customer Success, Account Management, or Strategic Consulting within enterprise software or energy.
• Deep understanding of the Middle East energy landscape, including utilities, regulators, and market dynamics.
• Proven track record managing large enterprise accounts and surpassing renewal and expansion targets.
• Strong ability to build and sustain executive‑level relationships with C‑suite stakeholders.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; confident presenting to senior audiences and at industry forums.
• Analytical proficiency to leverage data for customer insights, account performance tracking, and strategic decisions.
• Willingness to travel across the Middle East for meetings, events, and engagements.
• Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree in business, engineering, or related field preferred.
