A global leader in essential health and hygiene products, improving lives every day.
Apprentices will learn by observing and assisting technicians and engineers, while rapidly developing skills through workshops, problem‑solving sessions and on‑the‑job tasks. Safety, quality control and professional appearance are emphasized throughout daily activities. The program also integrates digital manufacturing tools such as data analytics, automation, MES and visual management to prepare participants for the Factory of the Future.
Working in the Northfleet Mill Reliability Workshop, apprentices will carry out scheduled maintenance across steam generation, water‑treatment, paper‑manufacturing, converting, packaging and robotic palletising equipment. They will use workshop machinery—including lathes, milling machines, pillar drills, grinders and welding stations—to fabricate and repair components. Electrical and instrumentation duties cover installation, fault finding, diagnosis, repair, preventative maintenance, calibration and thermographic surveys, while mechanical work includes bench fitting, pump, gearbox and valve repairs.
