

Engineering & construction firm using robotics to deliver civil, structural, transportation, and infrastructure projects.
❖ Manage financial performance of the Design projects.
❖ Manage projects, clients, staff, safety and schedules of all projects within the Civil Department.
❖ Review and approve engineering designs.
❖ Collaborate with VP to evaluate team members on performance.
❖ Provide technical expertise to direct and indirect personnel regarding design work.
❖ Spearhead client meetings such as proposal, progress and completion meetings when necessary.
❖ Hands-on design in the preparation of design plans using Civil3D.
❖ Perform quality review of contract documents including plans, specifications, and estimates.
❖ Travel to job sites to make sure design specifications and standards are being met.
❖ Calculations and report preparation for storm drainage, storm water management and water quality treatment systems.
❖ Lead engineering team in formulating plans, designs, cost estimates, and specifications for civil, as well as traffic from concept to bid documents to deliver designs.
❖ Ability to create and finalize construction drawings.
❖ Experience with New York (city and state) agencies and their respective design criteria/guidelines.
❖ Experience with respective federal and state design guidelines such as AASHTO.
❖ Strong experience with management software including Microsoft Project or Primavera.
❖ Bachelor's degree (BS or BA) in Civil Engineering.
❖ NY/NJ Professional Engineer (PE) required.
❖ Strong understanding of government regulations, OSHA regulations and safety procedures.
❖ 10 years related experience in A/E/C industry.
❖ Experience with NYSDOT is a MUST.
❖ Significant experience in roadway engineering including vertical and horizontal alignments, storm drainage and analysis, utility design, MPT/WZTC.
❖ Knowledge/experience of project management principles, practices in civil and traffic engineering design.
❖ Expertise of design techniques, tools, and principles involved in production of precision technical plans, blueprints and drawings.
❖ Proficiency with AutoCAD with Civil 3D, MicroStation, Inroads, Bluebeam, and Adobe.
❖ Knowledge of principles involved in strategic planning, resource allocation, leadership techniques and the coordination of people and resources.
❖ Skilled in managing clients, projects, and engineers/CAD operators .

$165,000 - $214,000 annually. Pay commensurate with experience.
