Candidate should be well versed in the use of the AASHTO LRFD and LFD Bridge Design Specifications.
Successful candidate will be articulate with a professional presence and solid decision-making, planning and organizational skills.
Ability to grow while working in a team environment, demonstrated organizational skills, self-motivated, and a commitment to continuous improvement.
Professional Engineering (PE) License registered in Pennsylvania or the ability to obtain within 1 year is required.
Prior experience with Pennsylvania Department of Transportation and/or Pennsylvania Turnpike projects preferred including being well versed in client design policies, standards and specifications.
Analytical and interpersonal skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Position requires effective time management
Minimum of 5 years of experience in the analysis and design of concrete and structural steel bridges (new and rehabilitation) and related simple and complex structures.
Proficient with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook)
BS in Civil or Structural Engineering is required. Masters Preferred, but not required.
