Senior Analyst- Global Programs- Materials

Description

• Responsible for sharing with the team, best supply chain management practices, continuous improvement of process, development of process standards, compliance with Materials planning processes, and reporting in alignment with the regional and global supply chain organization
• Support various analytical requirements from materials management & Inventory Analytics perspective like development of replenishment methods (Min-max, ROP, Safety stock), past due reduction & Excess & obsolete inventory reduction and control.
• Work on developing Standard work in co-ordination with cross functional teams to deliver high quality, prompt material management Analytics/reporting services.

Requirements

• Should have supported global programs in the capacity of supply chain and materials functional expertise and required analysis. Also should have critical thinking and ability to bring order to unstructured problems
• Strong Working Knowledge ERP Systems preferably SAP/ Mfg Pro/ Oracle/ MAPICS is required. Knowledge of Kinaxis is an added advantage.
• Proficient skills level in MS Office: Advanced Excel and Power Point presentations.
• Comfortable in working across multiple geographies and global stakeholders"
• An individual with a strong sense of customer focus
• Strong understanding of plant operations and manufacturing value stream in a discrete manufacturing environment
• Should have strong functional knowledge & working experience related to Materials management & detailed understanding of concepts related to P2P process, replenishment planning, MRP/ material planning & Inventory performance measures like ITR & DOH
• Excellent communication & presentation skills to work with Global, regional & local materials management teams across the globe.
• Preferred exposure into MS Access, SQL and PowerBI query building. "
• Preferred hands on experience in plant/DC operations involving materials planning and inventory optimization
• Proficient and good hands on exposure on ERP (Preferred Oracle, SAP, Mfg. Pro), Knowledge of Kinaxis is an added advantage
• A team player with willingness to work across multiple cross-functional engagements and learning agility towards adoption of Digital tool and technologies.
• Good understanding of quantitative supply chain including but not limited to concepts like cycle service levels, order fulfillment, on-time delivery, inventory turnover etc.
