Reviews and approves key design documents, supplier drawings and data, material specifications, drawings, and change orders, for the project to which assigned
Examines and analyzes pipe configurations for ANSI/ASME code compliance . Interprets new or special regulations, codes, standards, criteria, and performance data
Plans, develops, coordinates and reviews plant design and piping engineering work on a medium size project or assignment in support of a global business unit
Develops conceptual designs for plant design and piping projects or projects having specialized or unique requirements
Provides the technical input to meet procurement requirements
Mentors plant design and piping personnel by providing on-the-job training for their professional development . Provides input to and participates in special technical educational and training programs as directed
Perform fatigue analysis of piping system for applicable number of cycles.
Examines and analyzes pipe configurations for ANSI/ASME code compliance
Prepares or oversees the preparation of discipline estimates and work plan in accordance with project scope, schedule, and budget, and supports implementation and assists with performance reporting
Perform stress analysis of critical piping for different condition such as thermal, seismic, wind, banana effect, spalling conditions, etc.

Experience in hangers-snubbers-struts-sway and brace-engineered supports.
Must be authorized to live and work in the US without sponsorship.
Proficiency with Caesar II, AutoPipe, Microsoft excel and word. Familiar with FEA and nozzle Pro.
Requires bachelor's degree (or international equivalent) and 10-13 years of relevant experience or 14-17 years of relevant work experience in lieu of degree.
Proficiency in 3D model software such as Smart Plant Review or NavisWorks
Working knowledge of applicable codes and standards such as ASME B31.3 and related API 610, 661, 617, 650, 560.
Willingness to travel and/or relocate to jobsite in support of projects.
