Description

• Attention to detail: Accurately records weights, tickets, and payments.
• Prepare tickets and invoices for customers and drivers.
• Collect and process payments or confirm charge accounts.
• Communicate with drivers, plant operators, and dispatch to coordinate loads.
• Record and verify weights of materials such as sand, gravel, and stone.
• Operate the truck scale to weigh incoming and outgoing vehicles accurately.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and safety procedures at the scale house.
• Maintain daily logs and reports of shipments and scale activity.

Requirements

• Computer and data-entry skills: Uses scale software and office systems efficiently.
• Reliability and punctuality: Shows up on time and can be depended on daily.
• Good communication skills: Speaks clearly with drivers, customers, and coworkers.
• Education: High school diploma or equivalent
• Successful candidates must adhere to all safety protocols and proper use of Amrize approved Personal Protection Equipment ("PPE"), including but not limited to respirators. Employees that are required to wear respirators must be clean shaven where the respirator seal meets the face in order to pass the qualitative and quantitative fit tests.
• Required Work Experience: Minimum 6 months - 1year of experience
• Strong basic math skills: Correctly calculates weights, totals, and invoices.
• Ability to follow safety rules: Understands and enforces site safety procedures.
• Customer service skills: Remains polite and professional, even in busy situations.
