We are seeking a Senior Cost Manager focused on mechanical, electrical and plumbing (MEP) to join our consulting practice in Cambridge. The role suits self‑motivated individuals from consultancy, client, construction or contracting backgrounds who can work independently and collaboratively.
The Senior Cost Manager will deliver the full spectrum of MEP cost management services, including pre‑contract estimating, procurement, contract administration, cost reporting and final account resolution. Strong measurement skills and experience with quantified procurement routes are required, particularly across residential, education, healthcare and life‑science sectors.
The successful candidate will have experience managing internal resources, mentoring junior staff, and a solid understanding of JCT and NEC contracts. A full UK driving licence, willingness to travel, and a CSCS card are essential. Preferred qualifications include Chartered status with RICS or an equivalent body and a BSc/MSc in Quantity Surveying or Cost Management.
