Project Controls Manager

Description

• Manage scope changes and contract variations in line with the contract.
• Develop and monitor project budgets, forecasts, and cost baselines.
• Assess and interrogate detailed project schedules (Primavera P6 / MS Project).
• Prepare monthly reports and dashboards, including Earned Value Management (EVM) metrics.
• Liaise with stakeholders to ensure alignment, transparency, and adherence to governance.
• Identify and mitigate project risks; maintain risk registers.
• Mentor and develop junior project controls staff.
• Facilitate monthly reporting process, fostering team collaboration to meet deadlines.

Requirements

• Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Finance, or related discipline.
• Time served experience in project controls within construction or infrastructure projects.
• Proficiency in project management software and data analysis tools.
• Strong understanding of project controls principles (EVM, cost control, scheduling, EVM change management).
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Professional certifications (APM, PMP, or equivalent) desirable.
