The Stainless Steel Tanker Maintenance Technician repairs, inspects, and welds specialized equipment, handling basic electrical components and maintaining air, electrical, and hydraulic systems to ensure safe, productive operations. The technician’s duties support the reliability of tanker operations and contribute to overall operational efficiency.
The role requires a broad understanding of welding procedures, MIG/TIG welders, plasma cutters, and design principles, as well as a strong ability to read assignments, interpret blueprints, and work independently with limited supervision. These competencies enable accurate execution of complex repairs and fabrication tasks.
Preferred qualifications include equipment maintenance experience, welding/fabrication skills, confined‑space certification, DOT inspector certification, and HM‑183 certification, while minimum requirements are a valid driver’s license and ability to enter a 20‑inch man‑way. Meeting these criteria ensures the technician can safely perform duties in confined environments and comply with regulatory standards.
The company invests in tools, technology, and development opportunities, offering a supportive environment where employees’ efforts are valued and sustainability is a core focus. Employees benefit from comprehensive benefits, career development, and a collaborative team environment.
