Principal Water Infrastructure Engineer

• Design and deliver water infrastructure projects including pipelines, pump stations, reservoirs, and treatment facilities.
• Lead project delivery from business development through design to construction, managing commercial aspects.
• Provide technical leadership, ensuring quality, timely, and budget‑compliant outcomes with multidisciplinary teams.
• Mentor junior engineers and designers, fostering talent development and succession planning.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external clients across sectors.

Requirements

The Townsville office is seeking an experienced engineer to join its water infrastructure team, working on pipelines, pump stations, storage reservoirs, and water and wastewater treatment projects for clients in North Queensland and beyond. This role offers a blend of technical design, project management, and commercial responsibilities within a regional setting.

• Hold relevant tertiary qualifications and be a Registered Professional Engineer of Queensland (RPEQ) or Chartered Professional Engineer (CPEng).
• Demonstrated experience managing complex multidisciplinary water infrastructure projects.
• Ability to develop new client relationships and sustain existing networks.
