Regional Water Resources Lead

The Regional Water Resources Leader is responsible for developing, growing, and leading the Central Texas Water Resources practice. This senior-level role combines technical expertise in water resources engineering with practice-building, team leadership, and client development. The leader will represent the firm to clients, partners, and industry organizations while ensuring excellence in project delivery and strategic growth. This is a full-time position paid on a salary basis.

• Develop, grow, and lead the Central Texas Water Resources practice across hydrology, hydraulics, conveyance, storage, groundwater, and treatment.
• Partner with Marketing and Business Development to create and execute a regional business development plan aligned with the Civil Engineering Division strategy.
• Build and maintain long‑term relationships with clients, partners, and industry leaders.
• Represent the firm as a technical expert in client meetings, interviews, and industry forums.
• Collaborate across office locations to leverage collective water resources expertise.
• Mentor staff, ensuring adherence to Parkhill’s keystone habits and technical excellence.
• Serve as Senior Project Manager or Project Principal on major water resources projects, providing technical oversight.

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in civil engineering from an accredited university.
• Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) in Texas.
• Minimum 10 years of progressive experience in water resources or water/wastewater treatment.
• Strong understanding of engineering project management, planning projects from start to finish.
• Experience working with state, regional, and public agencies such as municipalities, water districts, river authorities, counties, and state agencies.
• Expert knowledge of environmental and workplace safety regulations.
• Proven track record in practice growth, client development, and business acquisition.
• Technical expertise in hydrology, hydraulics, drainage, water/wastewater, and related civil engineering solutions.
• Excellent analytical, leadership, communication, and relationship management skills.
