An exciting opportunity to join the Cost & Commercial Management team working within Water Sector with our key strategic client. The role is primarily focused on lifecycle costing but will interface closely with Estimating and Carbon services.
Providing support for lifecycle cost advice and optimisation of whole-life costs, performance for a range of assets, including whole-life/ lifecycle cost models, options appraisals tailored to projects and clients
Providing support for the whole-life cost outputs and data to support economic and business cases

2:1 degree
Professional membership i.e. MRICS/RICS.
A degree in quantity surveying/cost management or equivalent.
Experience in handling data required for Whole Life cycle costing, including the analysis of large volumes of data in the preparation of models, reports and economic appraisals
Some Knowledge of value engineering and life cycle costing.
Experience in a similar role in a consultancy/commercial environment.
Good understanding of WLC measurement, calculations, modelling and able to articulate principles across the team at all levels.
Ability to review information quickly and efficiently.
Demonstrable ability to supporting with tasks and ability to work with overlapping/tight deadlines, delivering outputs in an accurate and timely manner
Good technical writing, and communication skills (both internal and external), and commercially astute with strong presentation skills
Minimum 2:1 at degree level, in any discipline
Proficient in MS Office suite (particularly Excel), with general strong IT skills
Ability to undertake research and data gathering, some quantitative analysis (including lifecycle, energy and risk models), data analysis and evaluation.
