Work closely with other maintenance staff & Projects team to coordinate repairs and renovations. Communicate effectively with hospital departments to minimize disruption during painting tasks.
Ensure all work complies with hospital safety standards, infection control, and regulatory requirements. Ensure safe use, storage, and disposal of paints, solvents, and chemicals. Comply with Occupational Health & Safety (OHS) standards.
Conduct routine inspections of painted surfaces and recommend maintenance schedules. Assist with minor carpentry or plastering tasks related to painting work.
Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, patching, and priming before painting. Repair cracks, holes, and damaged surfaces.
Maintain logs of work completed, materials used, and areas serviced. Report supply needs and assist with inventory management of paints and tools.
