Hunton Andrews Kurth LLP seeks an attorney to join its labor and employment team as a non-partnership track salaried attorney in its Washington, DC office. An attorney in this position will be benefits-eligible and will generally have an expected billable hour goal of 1400-1800 hours. The ideal candidate will have at least four years of employment litigation and counseling experience. A successful candidate will have extensive litigation experience; be capable of running and managing cases, communicating, and negotiating with opposing counsel, arguing motions in court; have strong analytical, research and writing skills; and be comfortable advising clients directly and managing deadlines and case dockets. Experience with traditional labor and labor management relations is a plus. Telecommuting arrangements may be considered from a home office in Washington, DC; Virginia; or Maryland. Licensure in the jurisdiction of the home office is required. DC bar membership is preferred but, in any event, required within one year of commencing employment. At the time of posting, the expected salary range for this position is $150,000 to $250,000. Actual salary offers may vary based on a number of factors, including but not limited to, education, training, skill sets, licensure and certification, practice area, experience, internal equity, and market data.
