Tasks

-Data Analysis: Monitor inventory levels, track key metrics, and analyse data to identify trends, discrepancies, and opportunities for improvement. -Inventory Control: Develop, implement, and maintain inventory management systems and procedures to ensure accurate and efficient stock control. -Reporting: Prepare and present regular reports on inventory performance, stock levels, and other key metrics to senior management. -Supply Chain Coordination: Work closely with procurement, warehouse, and distribution teams to ensure seamless supply chain operations and timely order fulfillment. -Compliance: Ensure compliance with all company policies, industry regulations, and safety standards related to inventory management. -Process Improvement: Identify and implement process improvements to enhance inventory accuracy, reduce costs, and improve overall efficiency. -Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and manage a team of inventory specialists to achieve departmental goals and maintain high performance.

What You Bring

-Relevant tertiary qualifications in Business, Supply Chain, or Logistics and demonstrated experience in inventory management within a similar industry. -Excellent knowledge of and application of Inventory Management principles -Strong analytical, communication, and leadership skills -Exposure in the use of BAAN IV ERP system -Proficiency in inventory management software (e.g., Baan, SAP, ERP systems), and advanced knowledge of Excel. -Be a self-starter and able to work both autonomously and as part of a team.
