Mentor and coach junior and intermediate engineers by actively sharing your knowledge and encouraging skill development within the team
Foster a workplace culture that promotes having fun while delivering high-quality professional work
Represent your area of expertise and promote it to potential clients and specialized groups in the hydropower sector
Lead onsite inspections, diagnostics, commissioning and testing
Identify, plan and organize client needs to assess the condition of their units and conduct power upgrade studies (turbines and generators)
Manage and perform various mechanical projects for turbines, generators, mechanical speed governors, bearing lubrication and cooling, balancing and alignment of rotating parts, hydromechanical valves and balance of plant for refurbishment projects and new hydroelectric powerplants / pumped storage projects
Participate in innovation projects
Promote our field service expertise, both internally and externally
Solve complex problems related to mechanical components in hydroelectric power plants
Play a leading role in client communications for your mandates
Be a key team member in executing small to major modernization or new installation projects

Must be a registered P.Eng. with the Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec (OIQ) or another Canadian province
University degree in mechanical engineering
Relevant experience with inspections, condition assessments, installation, commissioning and testing
From 15 to 25 years of relevant experience in the hydropower sector
